Parent Resources

Here at Little Rascals, We understand the stress of budgeting childcare into our already stressful lives. We especially know how hard it is for new parents who are just coming into this crazy awesome world of parenting. We have done our very best to help streamline the process for you and list all available resources  such as the Ccap for new and existing parents provided by the state.

Most of these links are to outside sources and we may not be able to help you with them, however we are always willing to try!

What is CCAP?

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps pay a portion of the cost of childcare for working families, or families in training or education programs.

Families with low income who meet certain eligibility criteria qualify for the program.

The chart below is a quick guide for those wondering if they may qualify for ND childcare assistance. Note: this chart does not guarantee you do or do not qualify for assistance. please check Here for more information.

The state has really improved on helping the process go as smoothly as possible as well.

These are the things you will need to have completed before applying for the ND CCAP. We went ahead and added all those links below for your convenience.

You will need to create an account before you can apply for CCAP, it'll prompt you with the first link provided.

Raising Children is often scary. As parents we are always worried about something. As new parents the feeling is one-thousand times worse!

When is the baby supposed to be rolling over, crawling, responding to stimuli, or talking. How do we know when to start implementing changes to their diet? sleep schedule? and so on...

The good news is your not alone, and there are plenty of amazing resources to help put your mind at ease. Check out this short video created by the CDC for Milestones Matter - and be sure to check out their Age 1-5 milestone website for much more info!
